Summer Camp 2011 Reflections
As summer camps have come to a close, children and camp workers alike have sent us some of their reflections on their experiences. Here are some of their thoughts . . .
“Sixty campers attended the children’s camp, which was held on the premises of our Central Church. Two girls who attended from the nearby town of Miass, Victoria and Anastasia, attended for the third time. As they are both teenagers, they helped us with the Bible classes. When they went back to their local church, they trusted in Christ and were baptized. Glory be to God!
Another girl, 14-year-old Lisa, started attending our church after she participated in our camp for teenagers and adults, which was located in the mountains of Taganai National Park. Two weeks ago, she repented and joined our church. However, Lisa’s mother has prohibited her from attending. Please pray that the mother would have a change of heart.”

“I’m very grateful to you for this wonderful Christian camp. I learned a lot of new and interesting things and had great fun at the camp. When the children were in the camp, their faces were always smiling and beaming with happiness. I hope you’ll come next year and bring more joy and smiles to us.”

“Thank God for the faithful brothers and sisters who helped us hold the children’s camp. And I’m happy to serve children through such a team. For me, it’s a good experience in dealing with children, helping them to see the importance of each other and being friends. Communicating with God gives insight into what they say. Hopefully in the future I can continue to serve God with His church (you). May God bless you!”

Please contiune to pray for all of the children who participated in summer camps this year. Pray that they will continue to receive discipleship from local churches, and that much spiritual fruit will be harvested throughout the year as a result of the seeds that were planted this summer.
