The Fruit of Children’s Christmas Ministries in the CIS

We are thankful for this year’s fruitful Immanuel’s Child Christmas outreaches sponsored by SGA across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Thus far, we can report that more than 15,000 children were reached with the Gospel, plus some 9,000 adults. More than 500 children and adults repented of their sins and trusted in Christ as Savior and Lord.

Immanuel’s Child took place in ten CIS nations including Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and several Central Asian countries.  From Russia’s Caucasus Mountains region, Pastor Viktor was interviewed by local television in war-torn Muslim Chechnya. He reported, “We are giving the children gifts, imitating our God, Who gave the most precious gift to mankind—Jesus Christ. This was not simply a gift; it was a gift of sacrifice.”
