Sobering lessons and Unexpected Blessings

In the morning we got a better look at the building where we had stayed overnight. It was a huge church named after Zwingli, a 19th century building with wonderful architecture. It used to be a Lutheran church until 15 years ago, when people stopped coming here and worship services ceased. As we gazed at the walls that still retained traces of their former magnificence, with marble sculptures of the great leaders of the Reformation, we wondered why this church had ceased to function?
