On to Kiev

6f88930389de9741e39cd51482aeef98.jpgArising at 4 a.m., we sped along to make it in time to the morning worship service at Grace Church in Kiev. At the entrance to the town we were met by N. I. Ponomarev, the pastor of the church. It was at Grace Church where the idea of missionary youth bike rallies originated, and we borrowed it. The first bike rally of such kind started in Kiev several years ago. At that time, our friends traveled through Ukraine in a cross-like pattern, i.e. starting from Kiev in four different directions — north, south, west and east — with four teams.
