On to Kiev

Ponomarev, the pastor of the church. It was at Grace Church where the idea of missionary youth bike rallies originated, and we borrowed it. The first bike rally of such kind started in Kiev several years ago. At that time, our friends traveled through Ukraine in a cross-like pattern, i.e. starting from Kiev in four different directions — north, south, west and east — with four teams.

Calling all Missionaries

The morning worship service was devoted to missionary ministry. We shared about ourselves, and Living Water sang. It was good to know that the church was not only friendly and hospitable, but it had been praying for our Expedition from the very beginning.

When the service was over we were supposed to have an excursion in Kiev, but rain began. So our plan changed and we went fast asleep as soon as we found a suitable room.

Meeting with Youth and New Believers

We attended a youth meeting in the evening in the House of the Gospel church. The meeting was devoted to fellowship with brothers and sisters who had been baptised on the previous Saturday. The atmosphere of the meeting was warm. People asked us to speak and we told them about our blessings that the Lord sent us on our way. We are happy that practically in every place, town or village we have so many Christian brothers and sisters.
