If Even One Repents . . .

photo-037.jpgWe started at six in the morning and headed for the town of Ishim. It was misty that day. We were to go 200 km. After the first 100 km, the cyclists said they were not tired. But then a small incident happened. Brother Piotr fell down and hit his elbow. The wound was not serious.

When we entered Ishim, we saw Christian men waiting for us in a minibus. We followed them to the church, and proceeded through the town. Many people saw our column.

photo-105.jpgWhile the church prepared a meal for us, Piotr Lunichkin began to talk to the children in the church and helped them to remember our names. Taking part in the game, we also gradually got acquainted with each other. It was a nice break, as we are often busy evangelizing along the way and often don’t enough time to get acquainted with local believers. As the Apostle Paul writes, “we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.”

Beautiful Clouds and Gathering Crowds

photo-136.jpgThe Lord gave us a wonderful picture at the evening event. He made such a beautiful pattern of clouds in the sky. And we involuntarily began to think about the soon arrival of Christ. We set up the sound equipment in the church yard and began to sing, and people began to gather.

photo-160.jpgAt first it looked like it would be a usual church worship service, but more people arrived outside the church house. The more people that arrived, the more evangelistic our preaching became.

photo-158.jpgThe Expedition cyclists introduced themselves. Then young Christians from Vladikavkaz sang. Inside the church, our children’s workers prayed with kids. Piotr Lunichkin preached about the spiritual state of Russia, saying that salvation from the evil that surrounds us is found only in God. At the end of his sermon, he called both believers and unbelievers to repentance. As a result, the Lord urged hearts of two Christian sisters and one Christian man to pray.
