Ministry Report 2007: A Banner Year for Youth Ministry
The year 2007 saw major developments in youth ministry across Russia under the leadership of national youth director, Eugene Bakhmutsky.
Six regional youth leaders have been installed with the responsibility to work with their local churches to train for youth ministry and to respond to rapidly approaching cultural changes.
With SGA’s assistance, the youth ministry began publishing a quarterly youth magazine called Omega. We also assisted in helping to sponsor several youth conferences and a youth festival. In February, a major conference was held in Moscow to encourage and train youth leaders, attracting some 600 from all across Russia — from Kaliningrad in the West to Vladivostok in the Far East.
