A Joyful Christ-Centered Christmas—Because You Gave

For many children across the former Soviet Union, Christmas is just another cold day with no joy, no presents, and no knowledge of Jesus. But through the SGA-supported Immanuel’s Child outreach, that all changes.

Your gift now equips local, biblically faithful churches to host Christmas celebrations where children hear the Gospel—some for the very first time. They receive:

A Star of Bethlehem ornament—reminding them that a believer in America is praying for them. Children who often feel unloved treasure such a gift.

Christian literature or even their first-ever children’s Bible (when available) to help as church workers follow up. Whole families and communities are transformed!

Why You Should Give Now

This year, churches supported by SGA are preparing to reach over 70,000 children. That’s almost 5,000 more young souls than last year—and includes Ukrainian war refugees across Ukraine, Poland, and Moldova.

But they can’t do it without your help. Your gift now will help churches have time to prepare. Time is short—children are waiting! Please give once more toward the SGA-supported Immanuel’s Child outreaches.

What Happens After Christmas

Immanuel’s Child is more than a one-time event. Children and families reached at Christmas are invited to return—week after week—for Bible studies and discipleship in biblically sound churches. They also are impacted by our other SGA-supported outreaches—Easter, Summer Bible Camps, Compassion Ministry, and more.

The transformation begins at Christmas—but continues for eternity.

When a Child Is Reached for Jesus

“I learned about Jesus. It turns out He was born in a manger and died for everybody. I will pray for my parents that they will stop drinking.”

— Grisha

“Now I know that Jesus can make any heart clean if you ask Him for it.”

— Stepan, age 5

“Dear Jesus, I pray that this year there will be peace on earth. Please make my mother stop crying.”

— David, age 12, after hearing about Jesus

Orphans, abused children, and war refugees have no hope . . . and Christians must reach them soon. Secularism, cynicism, addiction, trafficking, and crime all beckon to these young ones. But “hopeless” kids light up when SGA-supported church workers create Immanuel’s Child events at Christmastime. And the ornaments, Bibles, and gifts you provide will help open their hearts and lead them to Jesus!

Your donation will help change lives in former Soviet countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
