Editor’s Note: The images, report, and testimonies below were provided by SGA-supported pastors and churches in Ukraine.

Recently, SGA ministry partners delivered humanitarian aid provided by the generosity of friends like you to churches in two hard-hit regions in Ukraine. Here are some excerpts from a recent report sharing how God is providing for the emergency needs — and reaching hurting hearts with the Good News!

In the first region . . .

“Thank you for the help that was received from SGA for food assistance and distributed in [our] region. Approximately 200 grocery bags were purchased and distributed along with the Gospel. Many people prayed and received Christ into their hearts. Over 30 people prayed asking Jesus to be their Savior.”

In the second region . . .

“Brother Igor also took part in ministering to a large number of unbelievers in one of the most difficult regions of the country. People accepted the help with great joy and thanked God in prayers. Many received Christ that day. Funds were allocated to help in the region and more than 100 food boxes were distributed to those in need.”

“A woman named Lida admitted that before our church she could not stay in the church for a long time . . . but in our place she felt great peace . . . and opened herself up for a prayer of repentance after praying through her brother.”

“Rock musician Eduard was friends on Facebook with a woman who is in the distribution team for the needy, but they do not know each other face to face. Three times he says he asked to receive a package and asked on Facebook for someone to come to him. Due to problems with his leg, he asked his mother to come instead of him. But in half an hour, he “got himself together and came” to the church! He thanks us from the bottom of his heart for the help and for the good work we (the Lord) are doing. Even rock musicians are touched by the Lord and drawn to Him through our good deeds to His glory!”
