God Makes a Way to Bring Food Aid and the Hope of the Gospel

Help faithful servants answer God’s call to serve and grow the body of Christ.

Seeing the lost come to Christ — that is the burning passion of the Russian evangelical churches SGA serves, and ours!

Through sponsorship of faithful national missionary pastors, SGA partners are helping them reach their communities for Christ and planting new churches in unreached regions.

SGA connects North American Christians with individual Russian church-planting missionaries, and helps to send them out to targeted regions where they live, work and proclaim the Gospel. They have a tremendous advantage because they already know the language, culture and history of their people. The church planters are selected by their local congregational leadership and are partnered through SGA with sponsoring individuals or churches here in North America. In addition, many Sunday school classes and adult Bible fellowships have discovered the tremendous blessing of sponsoring a national church planter in Russia.

After Olga’s home in Mariupol, Ukraine was destroyed in the war, her family packed a few things and “left for nowhere.” But in God’s providence, that “nowhere” became the loving community of SGA-supported Pastor Ruslan’s church in a different region. “Thank God for the meeting with the ‘Bethlehem’ church, where we can have a rest for our souls,” Olga says. “Our hearts find peace when we hear the Word of God.” Please pray for continued healing and spiritual growth for Olga and her family.

Church Planting Ministry

SGA helps facilitate communication between the missionary and sponsors, to encourage prayer and so that all may rejoice in what God is doing across the former Soviet Union. Partial sponsorships can begin for as little as $35 per month.

Church planter sponsors receive their missionary’s name, family information, ministry location and a family photo when possible. SGA helps facilitate communication between the missionary and sponsors, to encourage prayer and so that all may rejoice in what God is doing across the former Soviet Union. The backgrounds of the missionaries are varied, and their dedication is such that many of them are ministering in three to five locations simultaneously. A significant number also have ministries to prison inmates, drug addicts and orphan children. Many former prisoners who have been gloriously saved have moved on to become church planters themselves.

Partial sponsorships can begin for as little as $35 per month.
