With summer already here, it seems too hot to even think of the difficulties of sharing the Gospel in Russia during winter. For several men over this past winter, this task proved very challenging. However, no obstacle is too great for the Gospel. These faithful brothers were committed to sharing the Good News to far-off neighbors in every city no matter the cost… or the freezing temperatures!

         As we shrink back from even sharing with the people in our neighborhoods, let’s be challenged as summer approaches to get out and meet the difficulties head on, no matter what they may be.  Let’s not let anything hold us back from being a blessing and encouragement to those around us!  Much prayer! Much power!
            I thank the Lord for your good works. Dear Friends, the Lord blessed us to be on missionary trips, thanks to our joint prayers. The purpose of the trip: “And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do” (Acts 15:36).
            Thanks to the mercy of the Lord, He does not leave northern regions without the Gospel News. It was especially true in the nineties, when there was a revival in Russia. People sought God, and many evangelical churches were formed. It was so much like during the times of the first New Testament church, when the Apostle Paul visited churches to support them spiritually. And our wish, on the example of biblical ministers, was to give our bodies and souls to the Lord to encourage churches, and for outreach. Recently…

• We visited 38 locations.
• We had 93 worship services and meetings during the expedition. 
• We spent 47 days on the expedition.
• The Lord blessed us with the power from above thanks to the prayers of Christians. We remained strong spiritually and physically.
• We covered more than 7,000 miles.
• We reached people, and the Lord blessed us to sow His Gospel Word during the trip.
• Many believers renewed their close relationships with Christ. We rejoiced in seeing the thirst of the people of God to Christ.

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)

            I would like to tell you how God worked and protected us in an accident. While going through the taiga forest, we blew a tire. We could not use the spare, as it was covered with corrosion. There were no service stations around. We were desperate. We prayed and decided to continue our way slowly with the collapsed tire. We covered about 4 kilometers. Then we saw a vehicle in a distance. Two men came closer to us and asked us if we needed help with our car. We said we had no options. The driver said that he was the director of the service station and was ready to help us. He said he had the type of the tire we needed. We told the driver that God sent him to us. He laughed. We detached the wheel, and several persons from our team went to the local village’s service station. Two hours later they brought a new tire. The Lord gave us an opportunity to tell young men about Christ! We gave them a copy of the New Testament and prayed for them, for their reconciliation with the Lord. Glory be to the Lord for His wonderful ways! One may say that there is nothing special about it. But we were in taiga forest. There are only small, remote villages around. It is one in a million chance that we would get help. This help was from the Lord. The main thing is that young men listened to the testimony about our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God!
            We thank the Lord for prolonging our ministry on earth and we thank the Lord for your prayers.”
