In one war-torn region of Ukraine, life is nearly impossible for those left behind. The elderly, single mothers with children, impoverished families, and the disabled are often trapped in villages near the front lines—places where basic survival is a daily battle.
Into this darkness, SGA-supported pastors Vlad and Dima shine the light of Christ, risking everything to deliver both humanitarian aid and the Gospel.
These faithful servants and their church teams make dangerous journeys to the front lines two to three times each week. They bring food, essential supplies, and most importantly, the message of eternal hope through Jesus Christ our Lord. Wherever possible, they also help evacuate those in greatest need—rescuing people not only from physical danger but from spiritual despair.
Their mission is fueled by urgency. As they’ve shared, some may perish without ever hearing the Good News. That’s why they press on—without fear and with unwavering zeal.
Recently, Eric Mock (SGA’s Senior VP of Ministry Operations) met with Vlad and Dima in Ukraine. The pastors expressed deep gratitude for the faithful support that generous supporters like you have provided through SGA since 2014. They know that it is your partnership—through prayer, giving, and encouragement—that makes their life-risking ministry possible.
Pray for Vlad, Dima, and others like them who continue to advance the Gospel in the most dangerous places on earth. Their courage is a powerful reminder that when the world turns dark, God calls His people to shine His light.
