As the war in Ukraine grinds into another difficult winter season, millions continue to face hunger, displacement, and despair. Yet in the midst of this suffering, courageous SGA-supported missionary pastors are standing firm in faith—offering both physical relief and the eternal hope of Jesus Christ.
Across Ukraine’s war-torn regions, SGA-supported churches have become lifelines for their communities. And thanks to the generosity of friends like you, congregations are equipped with food, medicine, generators, and Scripture materials. These gifts are opening doors for the Gospel as weary hearts find both comfort and truth through Christ’s love in action.
Serving on the Frontlines: Two Pastors’ Testimonies
From Pastor Vlad and Dima in Ukraine . . .
Now we see how the situation in the frontline territories is deteriorating again, many evacuations are taking place once more, and many new people are coming to us who need our help first and foremost and support, of course, along with the food and assistance we provide, they receive the most important thing–the Gospel. Currently, our focus is on serving . . . in the frontline territories, where we find believers from our church and serve to preach the Gospel.
We are grateful to you for your funds and ministry, because it helps our churches . . . to preach the Gospel in word and deed. We are preparing for baptisms in our church, most likely [soon], if the Lord allows and we are alive.
We are also installing solar panels in churches and administrations in frontline villages, which is very helpful for charging phones or providing emergency lighting.
SGA’s Lifeline of Hope
Hundreds of churches like those led by Dima and Vlad are bringing hope to thousands in desperate, discoursing times. Providing essential aid—from groceries and blankets to generators and Scripture materials—ensures that believers can continue to serve their communities even amid destruction and power outages.
Our mission remains clear: to help faithful pastors proclaim the Gospel, serve the suffering, and strengthen local churches across Ukraine and neighboring countries affected by war. Thank you for your support and praying with us as the war continues.
