SGA has been serving evangelical churches in the former Soviet Union since 1934. Our founder, Peter Deyneka, Sr., was a Belarussian immigrant with a vision of bringing the Gospel to his own people. Today, SGA serves national evangelical churches across the former Soviet countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as in Israel — training pastors and lay leaders; supporting national church-planting missionaries; providing Bibles, Christian books, audio and video; and supplying humanitarian aid.


Partner Relations Representative — Data

Responsibilities:

  • Enter data into the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to maintain complete and accurate records.
  • Update CRM based on flagging from current receipt processing vendor.
  • Process return mail, updating donor records and adding notes in CRM.
  • Process “remove from list” requests from donors.
  • Maintain familiarity with the ministry to facets of Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) so that it can be communicated to SGA partners.
  • Initiate telephone contact from a prepared list of current, past and prospective SGA Partners to communicate thankfulness, inform of the activities of the ministry.

  • Good communication skills
  • Professional and detail oriented
  • Must work well under authority
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Must know Microsoft Office Suite and be comfortable learning SGA’s Customer/Donor Management system.

Reports to: Data Management/Partner Relations Manager

Hours: Regular, Part-Time (20 to 25 hours a week, Four days a week)

Salary Rate: $15.00 per hour

Full-Time Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

Primary purpose is to manage the full accounting cycle, including timely monthly close process and produce monthly and annual financial reports. Develop a highly efficient working capacity of the donor manager system and the accounting system. Assist in the preparation of the external annual financial statements. Assist in preparing and tracking annual budgets. Prepare and maintain appropriate working documentation for all systems used by the department.

Qualifications:

  • Mature believer, harmony with SGA purpose and beliefs
  • Professional and organized
  • Must have a four-year bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
  • Five plus years of accounting experience that includes managing or supporting an annual audit
  • Good people skills with strong verbal communication skills
  • Must be familiar with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software
  • Must be able to learn new computer programs as necessary including SGA’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Fluent in Russian is beneficial but not a requirement
  • Able to handle several responsibilities at once
  • Must have a passion for ministry and a servant heart

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday through Friday

Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 annually
