Editor’s Note: The images and videos below were provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

SGA-supported Pastor Dima and Pastor Vlad visited another town in the Kherson region recently to deliver food aid, household appliances and the hope of the Gospel. This is the area where the Nova Kakhovka dam was destroyed which caused life-threatening flooding from the Dnipro River. “We have partially brought food, canned food, fuel, water, medicine, and are still waiting for some medications,” Dima says.

Translation:

This is the village of Antonivka near Kherson. The Antonivka Bridge is 2 km away, and the water is slowly receding, but not all the streets are still driveable. These are the means of transportation that are relevant (you can see a boat with oars in the video).

Translation: This is the Kakhovka Reservoir/Dam.

Here is a short prayer time with the team and villagers before they left.

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
