Editor’s Note: The information below was provided by an SGA-supported seminary in Ukraine.

Just over a year ago, 50 mortar rounds hit the five buildings of the SGA-supported Irpen Biblical Seminary. Much of the campus was destroyed. Fire spread after a strike from lethal artillery against defenseless civilian buildings.

By God’s grace, the ground-level worship center, library, and dining halls were relatively unharmed. These rooms where God is lifted up in praise were spared destruction. And this includes the seminary’s precious library books—vital to its mission of preparing leaders for His church. They were untouched!

Our friends at Irpen shared with us that while the seminary was under assault, the library was the room they prayed for the most. For the students and teachers, this was a treasure that could not be lost. As the seminary prepared to open for the Spring Semester this year, the staff carefully cleaned and prepared the books to be organized and shelved once again. Watch now and praise God with us for His provision . . .

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
