Despite their sorrow and suffering, Ukrainians keep seeking Christ

Greetings to you, dear friends and faithful workers in Christ! The Lord blessed us and the last quarter of 2024 was very fruitful. The Lord enabled us to perform 13 impactful outreaches. Starting in August, we held an outreach concert at the House of Culture in our town. I rented a bus to bring a group of young people from the village where we are planting a church. They had an opportunity to hear and see the Gospel in action. Later we held teen meetings, where we taught our teenagers about God’s Word. It was a wonderful time.

Next, we helped at an evangelistic event at our daughter church in Putylo. Many unbelievers were invited, and we shared the message of Jesus Christ. Then we held training for a week with 70 young musicians. I was able to teach them, lead training sessions, and lead a study with them from God’s Word in the evening. Then at the end of the summer, we hosted and held our largest evangelistic event at the main House of Culture, where about 300 people heard the Gospel for the first time! It was just incredible.

As the fall began, we focused on social ministry, helping those in need by distributing food packages and supporting people, who lack even the basic necessities. Caring for orphans, widows, and the disabled has become one of the most important ministries in Ukraine today, as it opens the door to sharing God’s Word.

In October, we encountered a situation where a man had beaten his wife severely and thrown her out of the house along with their two young daughters. We took her to our house. Later we found an old house to rent for her and made it livable. We fixed the plumbing system and made basic repairs.

Today this family is happy and safe.

In addition to all this, we also began planting our sixth church. Every month we travel to the village of Yablunytsa. Despite being a very far journey on dangerous mountain roads, we were regularly gathering there between 150-180 kids—sometimes close to 200. We are also meeting with a group of 20 adults for studying the Word of God and hearing about Jesus Christ.

This village had no believers before, but we are working hard to change that. Will you pray with us for this village also?

In November, we were also hosting another ministry in our church, gathering school directors, educators, administrators and specialists for a seminar focused on the mental health and foundation that God provides. I shared God’s Word with those leaders for two hours and they listened attentively and openly. I believe that God is going to do something special there. At the end of the month, we held perhaps the largest event of the year in our city. Over 300 highly educated individuals (deputies, professors, government officials, and scholars) gathered for a special event. I had the privilege of speaking about the only hope for our nation—the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything we have done this year was for the glory of God and His Name. I want to say sincerely thank you very, very, much, for supporting our ministry financially through the year. May God richly reward and bless each of you!

Please, be in prayer for Ukraine. Ukraine needs your prayers. God bless you, friends!
