Editor’s Note: SGA’s Senior Vice President of Ministry Operations, Eric Mock, shares the following testimonies.

When friends like you support SGA, you are helping to plant seeds that bear fruit for years to come. And in Yakutia—a vast, remote region of Russia nearly the size of India with only one million people—that fruit is beginning to flourish.

More than a decade ago, I met a young man named Yegori at an SGA-sponsored youth conference in St. Petersburg. At the time, Yegori was kind and faithful, but early in his spiritual journey. Just two years later, God reconnected their paths in a remarkable way—this time in Yakutia. Yegori had returned to his homeland, where the church was asking for biblical training in both the Russian and Sakha languages. Many local believers doubted anyone would invest in such a remote region. But thanks to the generosity of friends like you, SGA did.

SGA launched the Antioch Initiative training in Yakutia, eventually adding an advanced level by request. From this training, five men—including several Sakha believers—continued on to study at Novosibirsk Biblical-Theological Seminary (NBTS), one of four seminaries supported by SGA partners.

Today, Yegori is the regional pastor and leader for all the churches in Yakutia. He recently graduated from NBTS and wrote to express his gratitude:

“God was working with me through His Word and His Church while I attended classes… The seminary has become a real blessing not only for me but for our whole church.”

Another graduate, Eduard of[JG1] [VC(2]  the Sakha national church, also completed his bachelor’s degree at NBTS after first being inspired by the Antioch Initiative classes. He’s now leading biblical seminars in his native language and considering a master’s degree. He shares:

“I’m thinking of continuing my studies at the NBTS as a part-time student to get a master’s degree. The Seminary classes have inspired me to hold several biblical seminars at my local church in Yakutsk, all in our native Sakha language. They have been very successful and I think I will hold a couple more seminars for my Sakha brothers and sisters.”

Your support is making this possible. Thank you for equipping leaders like Yegori and Eduard to reach their communities with the Gospel—faithfully, boldly, and in their own heart language. The impact of your giving stretches far beyond a classroom. It’s changing lives.
