What a joy it is to see believers like you give generously to ensure ministry in Ukraine is not interrupted during the war! You have helped provide generators that we have shipped to churches so they may become centers of help and hope.

SGA-supported pastors have written to let us know how much these generators mean to their church bodies and surrounding communities they serve. Pastor Peter says, “While the generator is working during the service, smartphones are charging.”

Cell phones and tablets are lifelines for Ukrainians and have helped them to stay connected to family and friends. As pastors like Peter provide this source of power for communication devices, he is grateful for how God is meeting hurting Ukrainians who are coming to worship and experiencing the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

SGA—thanks to the support of friends like you—is now also providing solar-powered battery systems as we seek to address the long-term needs of churches and their communities in Ukraine. While the country continues to be under attack and the power infrastructure remains vulnerable, solar-powered battery systems will allow churches to continue to keep their doors open should a generator become inoperable due to a fuel shortage.

A solar-powered battery system will allow a church to provide illuminate in its sanctuary, or even its outdoor spaces, with digital lighting. The first shipment of solar-powered battery systems has been shipped to Poland and will soon be delivered to SGA-supported churches in Ukraine. Praise God!

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
