A Struggling Family Who Needs Christ

A deacon at an SGA-supported church in Ukraine recently shared with us about a displaced family in great need. The mother has abandoned the family, and the father is now parenting his 11 children.

But El Roi, the God who sees and knows their heartbreaking situation, is there. He is providing assistance through the grandparents, and He has also connected this family to believers in an SGA-supported church. As our brothers and sisters in Christ love and care for this family, please pray for these children and their father. May Christ bless them and grow the seed of the Gospel in their hearts.

Dear friends!

Thank you for your love, prayers, care, and sacrifice.

We cry out to the Lord, where do we get strength when we feel powerless, apathetic, irritable, fearful, and our enthusiasm for service becomes numb and we experience an unwillingness to fight? This is what we feel when we meet with such families, who need Christ.

This is a large family from Snigurivka in the Mykolaiv region. They moved to [our] region. There are 11 children in the family. The eldest son, who is 24 years old, is in captivity right now. Another son, who is 17, is bedridden. The mother left the children with the father, and the father is raising and caring for them now. His elderly grandparents help him. They all started coming to the Sunday church services. They are a very good family and God blessed them with a house. But the house needs a good repair . . . PLEASE, pray for these poor children and their father that the Lord would touch their hearts.

Sincerely yours,
Igor—deacon of the church
