Editor’s Note: The images below were sent by two SGA-supported pastors in Ukraine.

Two SGA-supported pastors—Dima and Vlad—recently evacuated elderly Ukrainians from a city where the invaders launched a new offensive shortly after war broke out between Israel and Hamas. The diesel fuel needed for this emergency transport was provided thanks to the generosity of friends like you.

Initially, there were as many as 60 battles a day in this area of Ukraine, but the lack of progress has slowed down the offensive. The loss of life has been profound, and we are seeing an entire generation of men lost in Slavic countries.

Please lift up Dima, Vlad, their ministry teams, and the people of Ukraine and pray Psalm 121 with us . . .

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and forever.

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-supported Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
