In the vast and rugged landscape of Yakutia, where many villages are unreachable by road and steeped in centuries-old traditions, faithful believers are carrying the light of Christ—one trip at a time.
Yuri, one of Yakutia’s youngest missionaries and an ethnic Evenk himself, flew to the isolated village of Sebyan-Kuel—a community only accessible by air in summer or by frozen rivers in winter. With just four Christian women among the entire village, Yuri shared the Gospel, visited homes, and brought food packages to struggling families—always reminding them it was done in Jesus’ name.

Pastors Sayeed and Innokenty made an 18-hour journey by motorboat down the powerful Lena River to reach Zhigansk, another remote northern village. There, they held Gospel meetings, delivered aid, and on their return trip aboard a river ship, shared the love of Christ with passengers for three days straight.

A youth ministry team traveled nearly 500 miles to Neryungry, where a small Christian community worships in a sister’s apartment. The church is building its first-ever gathering place, and youth leader Nikolai shared the Gospel in the Sakha language with local construction workers—who attentively listened and visited the church service.

Each journey is a testament to God’s grace and your prayers. Please continue to life up these faithful missionaries and for the many unreached people of Yakutia who are hearing the Gospel for the first time.
