The frigid winter temperatures continue in war-torn Ukraine. Many are at risk of exposure to the elements and need blankets and generators to keep warm, including children and families. What difference can one person make in the midst of such harsh circumstances?

Pastor Dima, a partner with SGA, is on a mission. Recently, Dima shared food and warm blankets with those in need—and the message of the Gospel. Some regions of Ukraine now have a foot of snow on the ground, but Pastor Dima is determined to help as many people as he can.

Amazingly, as aid is being distributed, churches that once sat empty are now filling up! We’re told, “There are people that would never have considered walking through the door of a church nor listening to the message of the Gospel, who with a deep hunger in their stomachs and in their hearts are coming to churches trying to find answers. And they are finding faithful believers suffering themselves who are tending to the suffering.”

Your support of pastors like Dima and others helps provide food, aid, blankets, winter relief, and hope to so many. Pray for Dima, as well as other pastors and church workers in Ukraine. They are continually sharing the Gospel and aid amidst freezing temperatures, snow, war, danger, and hardship . . . and the churches are filling up!

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
