Ukraine Relief
Editor’s Note: The testimony below was provided by an SGA storyteller Ukraine.

Lifelines are described as something in which one depends on completely.  In the story below, there are two photos that especially stand out. The first photo is priceless as it tells the story of today. Our cell phones are our lifelines to the rest of the world. They are especially needed in the war-torn villages of Ukraine, as families struggle to stay connected to each other and to the outside world.

The second is a photo of SGA-supported Pastor Peter’s church filled with people hanging on to their eternal lifeline. As life gets more and more difficult for many of these men and women, they are running into churches for material items, but most of all for the saving grace of Jesus Christ! They are clinging to the hope and peace that only He can provide for their broken hearts.

As the generosity of friends like you helps equip churches in our network with generators and other winter relief supplies, we are praying that more and more Ukrainians will reach out and cling to the only Lifeline that matters!

Here is a note from Peter…

Greetings in the Lord!

I thank the Lord for you and for your ministry! I believe that your dedication, which is manifested in prayer and financial support of the ministry in Ukraine, will be accepted by the Lord as a special sacrifice for His glory!

Now we are looking for wisdom from God on how to improve the service to displaced people [in our region]. Because most of the people got a job or receive certain payments from the state, the need for products is not as critical for them. And we want to continue to serve them and testify to the truth.

Please continue to support me in my ministry, I appreciate your prayers! May the Lord bless you abundantly!

Your brother in Christ

Peter
