After Ukraine sustained damage to 40 percent of its power stations by drone attacks in the war, the country recently announced rolling blackouts to save power. With the harsh winter months quickly approaching, this is not good news for families, children, and the elderly — especially those in eastern Ukraine without access to heating.

Through SGA’s Winter Heat and Hope project, churches in our network will turn their facilities into “centers of heat and hope” — equipped with generators to provide heat and hope through distributing items such as blankets, coal, wood, and other emergency aid, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

SGA-supported churches are still overflowing and sharing the Gospel with believers in the midst of war. But they will need ongoing help from generous believers like you to care for the suffering. May God work mightily through us and strengthen Ukraine!

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
