We’ve heard from many SGA-supported pastors and their congregations in Ukraine recently who want to thank you for the gift of generators. Friends like you have given generously through SGA’s Ukraine Heat and Hope Campaign. With every generator you have helped to provide this winter — while Ukraine continues to face widespread and long-lasting power outages — you are helping to equip a church to become a center of heat and hope for the local community!
Here are several pastors expressing their gratefulness for the generators they have received . . .
From Yuri:
I am sincerely grateful to SGA and the sponsors for such a very necessary thing at this time, for the generator. Thank God that there are people whom He can use for good deeds! May the Lord bless you all abundantly!
Everyone was pleasantly surprised when they saw this generator. We’ve praised the Lord for such a blessing. Our church is sending thanks to you all for this gift! Now we have the opportunity to gather for worship and stay warm and with electricity. We can also charge our phones and flashlights or even computers. It is very important and necessary for people at this time! We cannot let the war, or cold, or lack of light be an obstacle in preaching the Gospel.
From Valery:
Thank you very much for the generator! Now we’ll always have electricity and heating and the opportunity to charge our cell phones. We will also use it in organizing children’s camps. May our Heavenly Father richly bless you for your care, love and dedication to serve our people!
From Veniamin:
Thank you so much for your sacrifice and help! . . . Our church have received a generator. Now, as we got this nice one, we can gather for Sunday worship in the church. We can hold now children and prayer services. This is amazing to come to the church and to know that no one will be cold! Also, after the services, it is good to spend time, just communicating together with each other, having tea and coffee and no one is in a hurry to go home! People (even unbelievers) always come now to talk about their personal needs or problems and during such meetings we offer them with coffee/tea. It’s a huge blessing! Once again, we thank the Lord for you and your compassionate hearts.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
