The next day a friend to them to the evacuation site. The day after the woman and her son were evacuated, a bomb hit the basement where they had been hiding. The woman and her son still have relatives who are in the city they left behind. “We believe that God can and will save them, because the only hope is in Him.”In a region that is no longer occupied by the enemy, churches are now able to deliver humanitarian aid to the people. Local churches have been able to resume their services and pray that all of Ukraine will be freed from the opposition. In one city, the government authorities are looking to the churches for help. A regional pastor says that he is encouraging young people who an opportunity return home to help. “People here are in great need both physical and spiritual.”Churches are gradually resuming services in the cities and towns liberated form the occupiers. All of the property, equipment, and musical instruments on the second floor were burned. “We believe that the Lord will give us the opportunity to rebuild the church building after victory and make it even better and more convenient to serve the Lord,” says the pastor. “We pray for our people and try to serve them so that they will see in action that in the most difficult times, the Lord is near.”During the first stage of the war, the church in this city did not leave. They are now engaged in extensive clean-up work. These believers bring food to the survivors in their community and also demine the territory. Pray that God will give strength and save their lives.
