In his letter to the church at Rome, the Apostle Paul asks a series of vitally important questions. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? (Romans 10:13-15).
Those questions still resonate today. The Lord has commanded His people to go and make disciples all over the world. That includes Russia and her neighboring countries.
In this issue of Good News Report, we’re sharing reports from pastors who “are sent”—by you! These are the dedicated missionary pastors you help sponsor. You can read about how they tirelessly labor in God’s harvest field. Patiently loving the people. Humbly sharing God’s Word and the life-changing Gospel. And being a tremendous example of faithfulness in the face of many challenges.
Not only are these reports an encouragement to our hearts. They are also a reminder to intercede regularly in prayer for the missionaries, their families, their churches, and their evangelistic ministries. Everything we do must be bathed in prayer, because while they plant the seed, we know that it is God who causes the growth. And He will keep building His church until He comes for His own.
Thank you for all that you do for His glory!
