SGA-supported Pastor Vlad’s van was hit by a drone while he was evacuating the elderly in an embattled city in Ukraine. We praise God for His protection and ask Him to guide the hands of the surgeon who will operate on Vlad’s leg, which was badly injured.
Please pray for our dear brother in Christ and read more from Vlad in his recent message about the attack . . .
Greetings again, my friends.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to carry out my evacuation mission today. A Russian drone hit and stopped my vehicle, and I was injured.
As of now, after the first shock, I feel much pain. I was always aware that sooner or later it could happen, but we have to do it, take risks, because people’s lives are more important. These are not just words “while doing good, do not lose heart, because in due time we will reap . . .” but also an action. Now the fighting is taking place [here], and I don’t know how they will evacuate me. So I am writing a message just in case.
Thank you, friends, for your support, for the prayers, that you stand together. It is important. May the Lord bless you.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary and SGA-supported Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, and hygiene supplies.
