Here is a recent report from SGA-supported Pastor Vyacheslav that illustrates how great the physical needs and spiritual needs still are as the war continues in Ukraine. Praise God with us that the Gospel and food are going out as He works through the generous support and prayers of friends like you!
SGA-supported Pastor Vyacheslav shares a report below on behalf of Resurrection Church. For the many who have been displaced, they receive an invitation to church as well as food and other aid. The situation is dire with no jobs and an increase in the price of food. People are in great need of basic necessities.
On behalf of Resurrection Church, I would like to thank SGA for the food aid. We have many displaced people living in our city. We try to help those who are in need. We invite them to the church and tell them about God, then distribute food aid.
Once again, I would like to thank SGA for their help and support for our people. Unfortunately, the situation is not getting better, there are no jobs, prices for food have gone up, people are in great need of necessities.
May God bless you all!
Pastor Vyacheslav
Here are two videos Vyacheslav sent from grateful people who received emergency help.
Translation:
I am grateful to the Lord, grateful to the church, grateful to all the volunteers who help us. We need such help, and we thank God for everything.
Translation:
We thank all those people who help us. May God bless their families and repay them a hundredfold for their generosity. We thank them for their help, care and love.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
