Since the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka Dam in Ukraine’s Kherson region, communities still need clean, drinking water. We are grateful that friends like you continue to give generously to provide bottles of water and other emergency aid. The churches we serve are distributing these supplies as quickly as possible and making the most of every opportunity to share the Gospel!
And here are pictures of bunk beds that were delivered to a church in Kherson. The beds were donated by SGA-supported churches in Lativa, and we included them in a shipment of water, food, and other relief aid. Also, watch the message of gratitude from the church’s pastor.
Translation:
Good afternoon! We, the Vilnyanska Baptist Church, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the help provided to our church. Namely, bunk beds in the amount of four pieces.
We thank the Lord for taking care of us through you. We thank the sponsors and all the people who care. The beds were given to families who found themselves in a difficult situation because of the war with minor children. Two beds were given to a family that has the status of a family-type orphanage, where six children currently live. Also, two beds were given to families with young children.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
