As part of a joint program overseen by Irpen Biblical Seminary (IBS) in Ukraine and Polish Baptist Seminary in Warsaw, Poland, a new seminary extension center has started in Gdansk, Poland—with additional help from SGA-supported missionary pastor Maksym. The one-year intensive at the newest location has 45 Ukrainian refugees enrolled. These students have already begun learning how to serve in newly growing and developing churches!

Igor, the president of IBS, shares:

“Praise the Lord, we start a new extension center in Gdansk . . . I was teaching the first session. I was staying in the house of pastor Max, and preached in his Church. My wife Lena was teaching Women’s Conference. Thank you for all your prayers and help.”

Thanks to the generosity and prayers of friends like you, this theologically sound training is made possible to produce leaders who God will use to touch countless lives with the Gospel!

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-supported Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
