It was an ordinary evening at a recent Summer Bible Camp in war-torn Ukraine—until it wasn’t. As the sun went down, about 100 children knelt and called out to the Lord. Parents were so moved that they knelt down, too.
That day’s Bible hour had centered on repentance and God’s forgiveness. SGA-supported Pastor Valentin, whose church hosted the camp, spoke to the children about inviting God into their hearts.
“The theme of the day was a clean heart and repentance,” Valentin says. “During Bible hour, the children learned about God’s forgiveness, and in the evening I shared a message about inviting God into our hearts. At the end, I invited those who wanted to ask God for forgiveness and pray with me to come into the circle and kneel down and pray. Most of the kids responded and prayed.”
The moment was captured on video. Watch for yourself below.
Please join us in praying for these children, their families, and the SGA-supported missionary pastors like Valentin who are pointing them to Jesus. May every profession of faith be rooted deeply in each heart, and may we all rejoice to see what God is doing in Ukraine!
