Here is a report from SGA-supported Pastor Mykola. His church is in the frontline region in Ukraine that has recently experienced an increase in missile and rocket attacks. There, you’ll find God’s people still serving as they distribute SGA-sponsored humanitarian aid made possible thanks to the generosity of friends like you.
Please pray for these believers as they continue ministering the love of Christ to hurting Ukrainians in their community. May the joy of the Lord be their strength.
I greet you in the Name of the Lord!
I sincerely thank SGA for the help provided to Life in Christ Church. From the very beginning of the war to the present day, dear friends, you have been helping our people who have suffered from the aggression and those who have lost their jobs and all their property. Through your care, we receive food parcels and hygiene supplies. All the food and hygiene products are packaged and then distributed.
Every Sunday after the morning service, we distribute these food packages to all the needy, unbelievers and IDPs [internally displaced persons who come to our church. We also help the residents of our city and the believing brothers and sisters from our church who also come to church for help with their daily needs.
We have a small church, many members have fled because of the war, but many people come to the church to hear the Word of God.
There are some who repent, some who are preparing for baptism. And we thank the Lord for these hearts! With your food donations, we can also go to the neighborhood area and deliver food personally to people in need, helping many IDPs who are unable to receive humanitarian aid from the government.
We thank the Lord for your work, for your ministry, for all your help and support in difficult times for our country. May the Lord reward you a hundredfold!
May His Name be glorified,
Mykola
