After 19 months of war in Ukraine, it would be easy to forget or even give up. But two SGA-supported churches in Ukraine know that believing friends like you have not done either! Through your generosity and prayer support, you continue to embody Paul’s call in Galatians 6:9 to “not become tired of doing good.”
You’ll see how grateful our spiritual brothers and sisters are for your continued outpouring of love and care as you read reports from Pastor Oleksandr and Pastor Yuri below. Please also pray for their continuing efforts to advance the Gospel in their hurting communities.
Dear friends in the Lord.
Warm greetings from Ukraine.
The “Eternal Source” church expresses its sincere gratitude to SGA and all the supporters for the humanitarian aid, food and hygiene products. All this support was aimed to help and serve people in need. At the beginning of the war, many IDPs [internally displaced persons] living in our region and our local residents found themselves in very difficult life circumstances. Therefore, your food aid is extremely important for our people now. Thank you for your work, for your care, for your love. We thank God for your dedicated hearts in this ministry!
Yours in the Lord,
Pastor Oleksandr
I greet you sincerely, dear brothers in Christ!
Thank you for your great help for our people who are temporarily displaced. Special thanks to SGA for your care with different products. We feel your unconditional love for us, your dedication in serving the Lord and the Ukrainian people. Therefore, may God bless you all with much more than we can express in words.
Sincerely,
Pastor Yuri
Translation:
Good afternoon to you! My name is Victoria. Today, in such a difficult time, a very difficult moment, we thank God for this wonderful food aid. We are also very grateful to those people who have made great efforts to provide us with these products today. Thank you for not forgetting about Ukraine! We really need your help at this time!
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-supported Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
