Editor’s Note: The following video is provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

You may remember that Marina, the granddaughter of SGA-supported Pastor Sergei, was badly injured and lost her leg when mortar fire struck their home in Ukraine during the first months of the war. Because friends like you generously gave and prayed, Marina was fitted with a prosthesis.

She learned to walk again and even visited the hospital where she had recovered to thank her doctor and the staff—as well as take donated clothes and toys to the children still not well enough to go home. These gifts were given by people in the region (who themselves had nothing), and Marina took great joy in delivering them to her friends.

Because of her strong faith, Marina comforted these young patients as she had been comforted by God and His church. Marina has since outgrown her prothesis, and she is trusting God to provide once again.

Please pray for this young servant of the Lord. As you can see in her special video message for you below, Marina shares that she’s never been to a Summer Bible Camp for children and youth. Let’s ask God to heal her body and make a way for Marina to attend a week of a week of fun, activities, Bible classes, and loving mentorship at camp—maybe even this summer!

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary and SGA-supported Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, and hygiene supplies.
