220714 Sga Ukraine War Emergency Stories 7 11 2 1

Recently, SGA received a report from an SGA-sponsored missionary in Ukraine. What an incredible impact you’ve made! Reading the numbers in the report below reminds us that every dollar you’ve donated has helped feed the hungry, assist the needy, and reach more people for Christ.

Yet Eric reports, “There seems to be no end in sight” for we know that “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” [Matthew 9:37]. Thank you for choosing to be a “worker” of such an incredible harvest, unlike anything we’ve ever seen before in Ukraine!

Eric’s Report

Good afternoon my friends!

Just a brief update to let you know the volume of aid that is coming to war-torn regions of Ukraine. In the last few weeks, we have seen a noticeable increase in aid flowing from Poland into Ukraine. We have now sent more aid through Poland than aid directly into Ukraine. This is good, for it is easier to purchased goods in Poland than in Ukraine. We have provided the equivalent of 107,000 bags of groceries over the last five months to approximately 86,000 families! This is assisting with an estimated 4.7 million meals. In addition, many of those families have also received medicine and hygiene items, and we have provided fuel for the churches to both deliver aid and to move people from harm’s way. There seems to be no end in sight. We expect this rate to continue into the near future. Please do keep telling the story and raising support for this need.

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
