220706 Sga Ukraine War Emergency Stories 7 5 1 1

Seeing Christ magnified through His servants in the Ukraine war is a sweet blessing for the world to witness.

Pastor Peter, whose recent report you can read below, is one of these faithful spiritual family members who continues to share the Gospel with each aid package shared. Pray for him now as you consider the outreach of this SGA-supported pastor and his congregation. They are giving their lives in service to Ukrainians in great physical and spiritual need. May God continue to strengthen and equip our brothers and sisters in the faith to do what is pleasing to Him . . .

Dear brothers and sisters,

Greetings to you with love of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Thanks a lot for the funds, donated by you for the ministry in Ukraine! We believe that God will return a hundredfold to you.

We received [the funds] and spent the money on the groceries and medicine. We made 60 packages. All the packages were distributed to 80 people. All of them were grateful for the care and for the aid.

A family [who came to our village] fled from the occupation. Their house was bombed and burnt down. They had nothing with them when they came. We tried to help them, as they came to our church. We provided them with food, a refrigerator, linens, and a bed for Dalia, an eight-year-old girl. They were grateful.

My wife’s brother Volodymyr has been living with us for three months. He came from [a different Ukrainian town]. The town has been bombed up to this day. We have allocated a room for him and help him. His wife, who had been sick and paralyzed for 14 years, died at the time of the war. Volodymyr took care of her. Now he lives with us. He helps me with the ministry and always goes with me. We visit needy families, purchase groceries and pack them together.

We visited [another Ukrainian village] three times with him. We took the aid there: food kits, clothes, blankets, and pillows. This village was badly damaged by the occupiers. Seventeen yards were destroyed to the ground; there is nothing left.

Dear brothers and sisters, thank you for the funds provided by you! It’s a great support and a blessing to the families! It’s a great opportunity to share the Good News with the people. May the Lord bless you abundantly and return a hundredfold to you!

With love and prayers,

Peter V. and the family
