Editor’s Note: The report and images below were provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

Through our partners in Poland, we recently shipped five large water containers to the Kherson region of Ukraine. As you can read in SGA-supported Pastor Sergei’s report below, the containers will store clean water and be an “oasis of hope” for hurting Ukrainians in the surrounding community. They have lacked access to drinking water since the Nova Kakhovka Dam was destroyed two months ago during the war in Ukraine. Read more from Sergei who helped deliver these containers . . .

Greetings, my friends in Christ!

We were finally able to deliver water containers to [a village nearby] the city of Kherson. People are using them and thank you for the wonderful help. Also, we drilled another artesian well in the two neighboring villages . . . and people can come and get filtered water. We put water filters in the pastor’s house there, so that they would be under his control and he could filter and prepare water for the people. And because this pastor had previously drilled an artesian well there, we decided to install filters there. The same filtration system was installed in [another village] to filter and prepare water for the needs of the local people.

Thank you for all your help you’ve been providing for us!

For His glory,

Sergei
