Ukrainian people are continually being displaced from their homes, finding refuge in surrounding cities and nations. From one ministry in Siberia, a pastor and his church are able to minister to those in need. What a blessing to read how your support is making a huge difference! Thanks to you, this church is able to hand out New Testaments and share the hope of the Gospel with suffering refugees.
Greetings brothers and sisters,
We are now in a complicated situation. It is painful to watch, and we understand that we can position ourselves only as ministers for Christ’s church. We want to be ready to come to help all people who are in need and in spiritual struggle, to be there and pray, feed and care about all who have suffered in the war.
We have 48 refugees who came from Ukraine. These are people who lost their homes, safety and social security. The have lodged in a health center and they are going to stay there for the nearest time until they are given another place for dwelling. People are there with their children; some with no means of support and all of them definitely need spiritual support as well as emotional and material support. Our team got in touch with the administration. We learned about the needs of people and with your help we were able to purchase all the necessary items for the time being.
When we came to them and started to communicate, we found out that besides their material needs, these people have a spiritual hunger. So we invited them to come to a meeting at our House of Prayer where we can pray for them and better care about their needs. We also used this opportunity to give out New Testaments. To my surprise, people gladly received God’s Word and are ready to continue relations with us. We are thankful to God for this opportunity to participate in their lives.
Thank you so much for your financial support!
In Christ,
Pastor A.
