The startling pictures and report from SGA-supported Pastor Pavel below provide an eye-opening view into the total destruction the people in the Kherson region are facing today. Whether it be the ongoing shelling, missiles, rockets or mortar fire, or the horrendous flood damage when the Nova Kakhovka Dam was destroyed in the late spring—or the smell and almost no access to water—life is very hard.
By God’s grace as He works through the generosity and prayer of friends like you, we have been able to assist in part through the churches we serve. Pavel’s report is based upon aid that was sent from Poland . . .
My brothers in Christ and I are traveling around the region where people have been affected by the flood and helping them in any way we can. This house (pictured below) belonged to old people. They are unbelievers. They are the parents of one sister (also pictured below) from the church husband. Her husband died, and she has good relations with her late husband’s parents. And this is what the house looks like after the flood.
We came there to take the measurements of the house and plan to build a modular house for these old people. Along with physical help, we bring them food packages that we received from SGA and witness to them about the Lord. We believe and pray that the Lord will have mercy on them and grant them forgiveness and a sincere repentance before Him. And we do good to everyone because the Lord calls us to do so! Let us not become weary in doing good. (Galatians 6:9).
For His glory,
Pavel
