As the war spreads to more Ukrainian towns, more people need food and support. SGA-supported Pastor Vlad shares in his recent report how his congregation is working to help feed and minister to regions recently hit by the war.

Please pray with Pastor Vlad that God will supply for their ministry as they continue to help residents and preach the Gospel . . .

Today we helped people in the [Ukrainian region], a small town, for which a month and a half ago the war was far away, but today the war is at the doorstep of the city.  You can hear volleys of artillery in the city, outside the city the “gray zone” is already starting and troops are already standing thousands of meters away. Together with the local church, we helped residents and preached the gospel. Today is like this: “If you want to preach to a hungry person, wrap a sandwich in your sermon” (Ch. G. Spurgeon ).

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
