Editor’s Note: The report and images below were provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

Remember Marina? She is the granddaughter of SGA-supported Pastor Sergei and lost her leg more than a year ago when mortar fire struck their home in Ukraine during the war. Because friends like you generously gave and prayed, Marina was fitted with a prosthesis and has learned to walk again.

Sergei recently sent us a report on his plans for Summer Bible Camp, and he also includes a very important update on Marina. This is the fruit of the faithful ministry of a small village church pastor. God be praised!

Greetings in the Lord, my dear friends!

We are now trying to organize a children’s Summer Bible Camp in the liberated villages in the Kherson region. We are gathering children who stayed there and did not leave, trying to pay attention to them, because their parents are busy with other things and have no time for children. We understand that if we do not pay attention to these children now, they will have problems after the war. Therefore, we have made this commitment to spend some time with children from unbelieving families and, first of all, to help them understand who God is, to teach them to pray, to trust God, to trust in Him! Parents allow us to spend time with their children, and we are grateful to the Lord for that!

Thank you for your donations and your unconditional love and care. May God repay you with His generous blessings!

Also, on Sunday, a big truck will bring us water containers, and I will pick them up and we will be able to use these containers for our summer camps and for distributing water to the people. So, soon I will send you both videos and photos of this exciting water distribution event!

Also, our granddaughter Marina is having her birthday. I will go to their city and take them all home! It will be a very vulnerable and emotional moment, because they have not been home for more than a year. We thank the Lord for all this journey! I will definitely share photos and videos of our “way home” with you. Please, pray that the Lord willprotect me on the way to their city and back, that we would get home safely. Thank you for everything!

I also want to share that we have drilled an artesian well and now have our own water. In the neighboring village, where I also want to help people with an artesian well, the area is very high and rocky, so it will take about 328 feet to drill a well. We are looking for such specialists.

Please pray for this as well! Thank you! On the two pictures, this is our Vacation Bbible School, and the next one is going to be a bigger one!

Sincerely,

Sergei
