First, the reality. Most SGA-supported churches we serve in Ukraine have about one hour a day of electricity. As the harsh winter progresses, both churches and homes are very cold. Lanterns and lights from cell phones are often the only resource for Bible studies and evening worship. Yet these faithful servants of the Lord press on.
Now, the rescue. Generators and blankets provided by the generosity of friends like you are arriving at churches — with more on the way very soon! The generators help congregations turn their buildings into Centers of Heat and Hope, so they can care for people who need shelter and warmth. Blankets and other winter relief supplies are being distributed to Ukrainians in need.
Please continue to pray for God’s provision during the worst of winter weather in Ukraine where little to no electricity continues. We will put our trust in the Lord as we come together to provide emergency physical and spiritual care — through SGA-supported churches — for war-weary people in Ukraine.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
