We hear so much about the heartbreak and destruction happening throughout Ukraine. But in this very short and sweet story below, we read of a great resolve among the believers in the middle of the chaos.
They had an “irresistible desire” to hold an SGA-sponsored Summer Bible Camp, regardless of the risks that this war holds. As a result, many young, unbelieving children had a short reprieve from the reality of war and most importantly heard the Good News of Christ. Please continue to pray for these faithful ministers of the Gospel, including Lesya who says . . .
For God, nothing is impossible. Despite the ongoing war in our country and all the associated risks for our team to run the children’s camp, we had an irresistible desire to do the camp in order to touch many souls of the younger generation.
We had 41 children attending the camp on June 21 through 25. The kids were mostly from among unbelieving homes, who came to their grandparents for the summer. The kids had a good time and heard about Christ.
Our team is especially grateful for your financial support to run the camp! Let it all be for the glory of God and as a testimony for the people.
Sister in Christ,
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
