After war was launched against Ukraine last week, Pastor Ruslan and his SGA-supported church quickly started a project called “Jesus Loves You.” As they minister to the urgent physical needs of hurting neighbors in their city, they are sharing the Gospel message and pointing people to God for comfort and peace.
In a time of great fear and uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of His incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Pastor Ruslan’s church has a fully stocked pantry to assemble Compassion Ministry packages which can include food, medicine, and other emergency supplies.The church has received many calls for help with women and children trying to evacuate Ukraine. Pastor Ruslan says it has been an opportunity to tell these frightened people about God’s perfect love.As fighting escalates, congregants have been quickly working to prepare a shelter in the basement that will accommodate up to 50 people.Pastor Ruslan and members of his congregation prepare hot meals every day to serve to anyone who is hungry.
