We recently received an update from the SGA-supported Irpen Biblical. There have been an amazing number of volunteers working to get the school ready for classes to begin in September. Volunteers are hoping to have the facilities open in time to house 50 students. Significant progress has already been made, but there is still a long way to go. The goal for this new academic year is four programs: Pastoral, Christian Education, MDiv, and MABS (Master of Arts in Biblical Studies) —with 50 students in each program.
In the images below, the destruction in Irpen and the surrounding area is evident. The eyewitness reported, “People seem to be moving on while surrounded by reminders of the war that rages on.” Yet God has another story, inviting seminary students in the midst of destruction to be discipled through Irpen Seminary. Praise God for your support! Because of you, these students are able to return, rebuild, grow—and be a light for Jesus to a hurting, traumatized community.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
