Editor’s Note: The image and story below were provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.
During a lull in the fighting in Ukraine, SGA-supported Pastor Vlad quickly packed up his church van with emergency aid provided by generous friend like you. He reached an area of Ukraine where the opposition has already decimated a nearby city. And there he was able to share what he had with a group of neighbors.
Here is the rough translation from the video Pastor Vlad recorded below:
The Neighbors: Thank you for the aid, for not forsaking us. Needs are only growing, as there are many more who require humanitarian aid
Vlad: Where are these people?
The Neighbors: “Hiding in basements. If possible, please, bring some foods that are easy to cook, like fast soups, instant soups or mashed potatoes, etc. and meds
Vlad: I brought what we have. May God bless you. We are believers, therefore, everything that we do we do in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for peace.
The Neighbors: Yes, we also prayed, and you came!
