Here is another report from a church that received SGA-provided food shipped from Poland. As you read Pastor Volodymyr’s message below, keep in mind that his congregation continues to serve others in an embattled region where the counteroffensive continues. Each day is one of constant hardship for these faithful brothers and sisters in Christ.
Praise God that—together with generous and praying friends like you—we can serve churches in Ukraine as the Gospel is going forward and the family of God is growing. Here is Volodymyr’s
report . . .
Our local church, since the beginning of the war, has been helping and serving the displaced, the poor and low-income families. The help that people receive includes food packages, hygiene items, blankets and Christian literature (Bibles, New Testaments, magazines), as well as counselling and prayer support. Since the beginning of the war, many people have joined the church and we have started small Bible study groups, Sunday school and youth groups. Sisters are involved in the ministries.
Yet, we can now hear the repentance prayers. Five ladies have been baptized and are now members of the church. This is a great testimony of how God works with many people through the SGA-provided food aid we receive. Therefore, we are so very grateful for your help, dear friends and the sponsors who donate funds for this.
Pastor Volodymyr
Thank You from Grateful Recipients:
“We are so thankful to all those who shares with us their love in action. We came to this place a year ago and can’t stop wondering how Christians who don’t know us are so kind and generous. God shows His love and care through all these nice people. God heals us as we trust Him in these terrific times! Thank you all the sponsors and great people from the church!”
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
