Editor’s Note: The report and images below were provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

Perhaps none of us would choose a war in Ukraine as the way God draws people to Himself. But ‘My thoughts,’ says the Lord, ‘are not like yours, and my ways are different from yours. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways and thought above yours’ (Isaiah 55-8-9).

The suffering continues as the conflict continues. But God, through His people, is providing for emergency physical needs in the here and now—and reaching hearts for eternity as the Gospel goes forth. Rejoice in this life-changing plan and purpose as you read from SGA-supported Pastor Volodymyr’s uplifting ministry report . . .

Dear friends in the Lord! Dear co-workers in the field of God, brothers and sisters of the SGA mission and all those who support, love, sympathize, care, donate,
pray . . .

We sincerely greet you and express our heartfelt gratitude from our church. With your visible support and invaluable care, you are serving the people of Ukraine during this terrible war. Your support in the form of food, your care, and prayers help us to bring God’s grace and Gospel hope to suffering people! From the very beginning of the war, our church has been involved in sharing the Gospel and providing charitable care to IDPs [internally displaced persons] and other categories of people affected by the war (disabled, large families, military families, orphans, etc.).

We are sincerely grateful to our Lord for the opportunity to serve people and preach the Word of God to them! Greetings and sincere gratitude to you, dear friends, from our local church! May the loving and gracious Father keep you and your families safe!
